Marlaina WillowWynd specializes in painting "soul portraits" for women and men who wish to meet their highest Self (anima/animus/god/goddess).

Each commission is a sacred process that begins with a medicine walk and ends in a 16x20 oil painting on canvas. Her mediumistic abilities and ceremony welcomes the soul to come forth in a joyous and oftentimes intense communion. Her palette becomes an altar with fresh offerings from nature, and the studio is prepared with a session of ocean drumming and singing bowls as she goes into meditation before picking up the brush. Nothing is planned out, and her only goal is to be a vessel for a person's Essence to come through.
